My interpretation of the sonnet
Today I was asked to post a post (haha) on my interpretation of the sonnet. I dont really know what to do because my first post is basically my interpretation. The post I posted about my understanding of the sonnet 7 was all about MY interpretation. If that had changed over the course of the day, I supposed I would not be as befuzzled as now on what I should do... My opinions and views are still the same. I still believe that this sonnet represents the daily pilgrimage of the son and links to the life time of a man. The end of the sonnet is a lesson for te man, taught by the sun, USING the sun as an example. I have been reading Shakespeare since the age of seven. It did not take me long to understand that you had to vary your interpretations on his writing if you wanted to fully understand. Although I remind myself of that, I cannot help but think that I am somewhat right, there are all too many clues that tell me that this sonnet is based on the rising and setting of the sun. I am not too sure what to do so I am just telling you, dear blog, and everybody else reading, the truth.
